Great podcast Adrian 🙂

Anyone wanna help me build a ark .... its a tad soggy out there
[07:59:52] Adrian Dale:

ALDI Irthlingborough brilliant - no queues- tills opened early and they have SR flour and plain flour but only 30 or so bags
[08:01:03] Resident131:

👍, any bread flour or yeast for Aitch?
[08:01:36] Adrian Dale:

Nope!
[08:08:43] Resident131:

Can’t find the stuff any where
[08:12:08] Resident087:

I have a small packet of yeast? I am happy for aitch to have it’s not the dried sort, but he is most welcome to it! X if you wanted to collect it I’m at 2 high street just let me know!
[08:14:46] Adrian Dale:

Thanks I’ll check how he’s doing
[08:16:06] Resident087:

Ok it’s fresh yeast and it’s in my freezer at the mo!
[08:24:00] Resident083:

I’ve not ordered any but have seen yeast in stock in collinsfresh.com (supplier in the catering industry now doing home deliveries). They deliver to a chelveston from Northampton, we’ve had a couple of fruit and veg boxes from them.
[08:25:09] Resident087:

Yes we have used them too!
[08:25:12] Resident131:

👍, many thanks, will see what they have
[08:33:54] Brenda Elldred:

Great podcasts from Adrian and Dudley. Adrian there is an article called the Cinderella church detailing some of the changes in 1966. I’ll get you a copy. Thank both and thank you Paul for the interesting rendition of the Lord’s Prayer.
[08:57:47] Michelle Dalliston:

Great to hear more church history Adrian! Very tempting to follow Fr Roger's example of hanging light to the regulations....🤭 sshhh 🤫 don't tell the Archdeacon!!! 🧐
Thank you too Dudley - lovely story of Easter Day in Zimbabwe 🌞
[09:15:40] Resident120:

Due to the weather today, we won’t be putting the books out this morning, but we will reconsider this afternoon if it stops raining!
[09:21:21] Resident033:

I have bread flour available at home. Suitable for oven and machine cooking.
3.50 for 1.5k bags
[09:40:10] Resident039:

The weather is a shocker this morning have been so spoilt the last few weeks ! X
[09:42:34] Adrian Dale:

Yep out in it now cutting verges. Makes the job harder!
[10:31:48] Adrian Dale:

Strong foul smells at the Caldecott gateway heading up to Chelston Rise. This usually means a blocked sewer which backs up to the Crescent and partially overflows into the ditches. Anglian Water are coming to investigate.
[10:33:07] Resident012:

Me and Scott noticed that Thursday night when we came through there.
[10:33:16] Resident033:

Oh is that what it was. I was out with Ethan walking yesterday and he said he was in no way going any further the smell was disgusting. 🤦‍♀️
[10:36:04] Adrian Dale:

Yep there is a sensor in that sewer which is supposed to alert AW but it hasn’t
[10:38:27] Resident101:

Hi Adrian Dad has finished puzzle #1. So that is available again. Could we have numbers 9 & 10. Cheers
[10:58:09] Resident063:

Yes I agree Adrian it's been like that for a week or so. I assumed something had died in the ditch
[11:01:53] Michelle Dalliston:

Minute's silence to remember our key workers xx
[11:10:02] Resident023:

Yes - been like that for 3 weeks, I even cleaned my sewers out as Kaye thought it was me!! Glad it’s being sorted. 🥴
[11:11:05] Adrian Dale:

AW on site
[11:33:54] Resident017:

I have noticed this for weeks when I ride by on my bike, smells just like dead badger 😣

[11:41:29] Adrian Dale:

Now blocked at Haleworth and being netted out
[12:01:42] Resident023:

AW regularly used to jet the sewers but this seems to have stopped a few years back. Probably one for the pc to pick up?
[12:05:29] Resident006:

Thank you Dudley for bringing back lovely memories of Rhodesia and the strip roads. The singing was beautiful 🐣
[12:29:46] Resident131:

It is really reassuring to read AD’s update on the sewers, I thought I could smell something whilst out last Saturday but didn’t realise the sewer was the problem. Thank you Adrian for sorting it out and the updates
[12:31:42] Adrian Dale:

AW now finished and have cleaned up the road. The reason we hadn’t seen the problem is that the man hole in the verge on the bend was the one overflowing. Foul water was then running along the ditch and pooling in Caldecott. The sewer is too small and so is a regular problem. I’ve been called out in the middle of the night before to help AW find the man holes. So if something doesn’t smell right - please shout. I’d rather we fix it in the light.

[15:47:42] Resident009:

I’ve noticed a lot of lovely daffs and tulips about- lovely heritage for the village
[15:50:52] Adrian Dale:

Many of our daffodils have been supplied by Bloms over the years too. I once hired a post hole borer to plant Elaine’s bulbs in various tough verges. No one told me it was two stroke engine .... until it seized.
[15:54:07] Resident009:
