Daily Newsletter - Sunday 12th April 2020

Here are the key stories for the day, with thanks to our WhatsApp group who keep these coming in all day there are now 127 members of the group, with every street represented.

All the supermarkets are closed today as it is Easter Sunday.

Yesterday was a really positive day on the WhatsApp group. There was good news about all the supermarkets, with queues shorter than previously and all very well managed. All of the poor reports about ALDI seemed to have had an effect and their performance is now excellent. The only shortage now seems to be flour.

The group also became a great place for exchanging household items, with new connections being forged right across the Parish.

Another of our households came out of isolation yesterday having made a complete recovery. That's great news indeed!

So many families were out an about walking yesterday, using our great rights of way network. It was lovely to see. I have now taken delivery of another batch of walking maps. Give me a call if you want one.

Holy Week continues, with a service for Easter Sunday. Please go to the Church Online site for details and access.

The weather continues to be fantastic this weekend, but the message is very clear. STAY AY HOME!
